Breaking: Court Orders Release of Alaa & Gamal Mubarak From Prison

Spreading virally across various media outlets is the news that Gamal and Alaa Mubarak are going to be released from prison.

On Sunday an Egyptian court ruled that the two sons of former President Mubarak have finished their original three-year sentence over charges of embezzlement in the infamous presidential palaces case.

In the trial, both men were convicted for embezzling state funds that were allotted to the renovation of Egypt’s presidential palace, but were instead pocketed by the Mubarak’s sons.
