Competition: Do You Have The Cutest Cat In Egypt?

Time magazine has their person of the year and People magazine has their sexiest people of the year. Here at CairoScene, we like to celebrate our Top Dog and Top Cat of the year. Last month our Instagram was flooded with hundreds of adorable doggy entries for our #CSTopDog2017 competition. But, now that the dogs have had their day, it's time to focus our attention on our purrr-fect companions in the search for Egypt's #CSTopCat2017. Many of us have lovely furry companions at home, and all cat owners have one thing in common: the belief that their cat is the cutest, funniest, and toughest feline in the world.

The official launch of #CSTopCat2017 is today May 21st, and once again our pet-loving friends at Ariika will be awarding cat house/beds to 8 of Egypt's finest felines. If you think your kitty has what it takes to break the internet, or at least win our Top Cat 2017 competition, Instagram a photo of your loyal friend telling us their name and why they want to win, using the hashtag #CSTopCat2017, and tagging both @Cairoscene and @Ariikacomfort on Instagram.

Posts that include the necessary tags will automatically enter the competition, which will come to a close on Saturday June 3rd. Once the competition ends, we will have Ariika pick their absolute favourites and will be contacting the winners through Instagram with instructions on how to collect your prize. Good luck to all the kitty lovers out there, let's just preemptively say that all your cats are adorable and should be winners, but there can only be 8, so spare us the online hate.
