Forbes Reveals its Top 10 List of Female Arab Social Media Influencers

And not one Egyptian made it on to the list.

Forbes Middle East has made a list of the top 10 Arab women social media influencers and not a single Egyptian made the list. Are we bitter? Yea, low-key. But that doesn't mean we can't celebrate our fellow Arab sisters. So, here are the incredible women who made the cut. 

1. Huda Kattan (23.8m followers)

Huda Kattan is a Dubai-based Hollywood-trained makeup artist and beauty consultant. The Instagram-famous beauty guru gained popularity on YouTube by uploading beauty tutorials. Kattan sells eye shadow palette, highlighters, and fake lashes with her sisters Mona and Alya under the name Huda Beauty.

2. Joelle Mardinian (9.3m followers)

Known for her makeover programme, the Joelle Show, Joelle Mardinian owns beauty centres and clinics such as Maison De Joelle and Clinica Joelle. The entrepreneur has also recently launched an array of beauty products under the name of Joelle Paris.

3. Hayla Al Ghazal (7m followers)

Founder of Hayla Couture and HaylaTV, the Dubai-based YouTube Star Hayla El Ghazal has around 3.8m subscribers.

4. Manal Alalem (5.5m followers)

Manal Alalem is a star of the Middle Eastern culinary world with 5.5m Instagram followers as well 715,869 subscribers on YouTube with whom she shares her recipes for Middle Eastern and Arabic cuisine. The professional chef also has various cookbooks including Manal Alalem’s Kitchen.

5. Noha Nabil (5m followers)

Known for her shows on Kuwaiti Television from the young age of nine years old, Noha Nabil began her fashion blog Nohastyle in 2009.

6. Darin Al Bayed (4.2m followers) 

Darin Al Bayed, widely known for her YouTube comedy channel HowaWaHeya, is a Saudi-based star with 4.2 million followers on Instagram.

7. Taim AlFalasi (3.1m followers)

Taim AlFalasi who is famous for TaimShow, an online radio show, has 2.4 million followers on Instagram and over 500,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel.

8. Njoud Al Shammari (2.7m followers)

Njoud Al Shammari is a U.A.E-based Instagram-famous lifestyle blogger with 2.7 million followers as well as YouTube channel, where she blogs about her life, travel experiences, and more with her brother Moha Al Shammari.

9. Sondos Alqattan (2.4m followers)

Founder of Boutiqaat.com, Sondos Alqattan has been a makeup artist since 2006 and now sells perfumes and incense.

10. Nora Bo Awadh (2.3m followers)

Nora Bo Awadh is one of the most influential makeup artists in Saudi Arabia, receiving millions of views on her YouTube channel. The makeup artists also has 2.3 million followers on Instagram and continues to teach classes for fashion.
