Hiring Hot Help

A hospital in Stockholm, Sweden is doing its duty of furthering feminism in its recruitment advertisements that call on “hot” nurses to join their team. This may sound like the summary of an “article” you may find on Pornhub, but sadly (or not), it is very real.

The advertisement reads, “You will be motivated, professional and have a sense of humour. And of course, you will be TV-series hot or a Söder hipster”. Of course what has everyone’s mind in a flurry is, what does “Tv-series hot” involve?

Not ignoring the need for relevant nursing qualifications, the recruitment is careful to add, “Throw in a nurse’s education and you are welcome to seek a summer job at Södersjukhuset's emergency department.”

Apparently the hiring manager hasn’t been faced with harsh rebuke from croc-wearing feminists yet, and has stated, “We think that people understand that it was written to catch people's attention.”

We don’t know about you, but with an employee filtering process like this one, we’d surely like to break a leg in Sweden.
