Let’s face it, our nightlife has been, and always will be, in dire need of new party concepts that cater to different tastes. Every once in a while, when events start to get stale, Ismail Kassem and the team show up and blow a breath of fresh air into the party scene with a versatile, yet no too outlandish, idea that the majority of the crowd finds enjoyable.

Amaze Projects are on a roll, right on the heels of their Park Life event, which was a day of music, mouth-watering bites, and scenic greenery, they’re back with Funtasia; set to be a regular party series. On Friday March 31st, at the Nineteen Twenty-Five terrace, they will be flying over Caprice of Mykonos’ resident DJ Anastasis "Bassia" Basias.

The Greek spinner will be playing a broad selection of nostalgic and modern pop hits with some R&B to elevate the crowd’s mood, in preparation for Dina’s performance. But make no mistake, as soon as Dina hits the stage the music will be oriental on full blast. The belly dancing icon will be showing the crowd what her legacy is all about, and why she continues to be the best to this day. Performing on the same night will be Diana, another belly dancer who will be making her Egyptian debut.

So, if you’re looking for a different kind of night out, this is it. Whether you want to revisit your Mykonos experience or catch your favourite belly dancer in action, Funtasia is the party for you.
