The family of Portuguese football megastar Cristiano Ronaldo lands in Cairo this week, en-route to Sharm El Sheikh for the Friday opening of a massive water park in the South Sinai city. As reported by numerous local media outlets, including El Watan News and Sheoruk News, citing a Tuesday press release by the president of Red Sea Tourism Investment Association Kamel Abu Aly.

The family of the Real Madrid's forward player, which include his mother and two sisters, will reportedly be visiting several Egyptian historical sites, with the Pyramids being on the top of their list. According to Kamel Abu Aly, Ronaldo himself has asserted that he will be visiting the country soon. 

The 88,000 square metre Albatros Aqua Park is set to be the biggest of its kind in the Middle East, and is part of a gigantic hotel complex in Sharm El Sheikh's Hadaba area, El Watan News reports.
