Swiss Egyptian Beats

With foreigners constantly being shipped over to our clubs to feed us the very latest in tech house crap, it’s not often that we get to return the favour.

To our delight, we discovered that some of our local uber-talented artists, ZULI, WETROBOTS , QUIT TOGETHER and WONDERFUL MORNING (All basically ZULI ++) have secured a tour of Switzerland starting this week. The best part? We’re not exporting the very latest in tech house crap. In fact, it’s not tech house at all. This motley crew of electro-indie artists are making a name for new, underground Egyptian music across the world.

It wasn’t too long ago we found out, during a Music Matters interview with Wetrobots , that they met two mysterious guys at an Amici gig and, for a year thought, that they were spies/stalkers. Turns out they were journalists/promoters that have signed them up for a few Swiss gigs.

Moral of the story?  Follow your dreams and talk to strangers.
