This Egyptian Police Officer Spoke Out Against Sexual Harassment and His Message Went Viral

You may have heard of the masses of men who recently ganged up on, insulted, harassed, and sexually assaulted a woman as she returned home from a wedding last Thursday night in Zagazig. The men were dispersed by gunshots fired in the air and police were able to then take the girl to safety. Since then, six men are known to have been arrested for the assault and will be convicted accordingly.

A video, which garnered almost a quarter million views in two days, was posted and has been doing the rounds on social media following the event. It features a police officer who had a few things to say about sexual harassment and victim blaming.
