Sheikh Zayed residents, all you guys living north of El Mehwar, the time to indulge your senses and tickle your taste buds has arrived with the opening of Zamalek's beacon of debonair dining La Bodega in Galleria 40, according to La Bodega's owner Suzanne Zeidy. This development is set to raise the culinary standards in your hood once and for all.The sumptuous new venue promises nothing short of the truly novel experience you used to get stuck in traffic for hours for. Not only do they have the most breathtaking interiors, illustrious leather chesterfield sofas, and their own vintage collection of curios, but we got an inside scoop into their new menu and it's definitely set to up the culinary game in Cairo. Seasoned South African Chef Johnny Lement will be serving some incredible unorthodox and distinguished dishes that he beautifully created from the ground up - think Seared tuna burger with herb yogurt, grilled salmon salad with potatoes, and poached eggs with fried capers.Seems like those of us living in Sheikh Zayed will finally get a break from obsessively checking traffic on Google Maps just to get our fix of fine dining.Photos provided by La Bodega.
