XP Conversations: Tarab Electro

Since their debut on Radio Al-Hara back in 2020, Riyadh/Paris-based Arabic-Electronic duo Tarab Electro have been gracing both regional and international stages with their culturally authentic sounds infused with the energy of the western cities that inspire them.

We sat down with Nizar and Ali, the duo behind Tarab Electro, for another issue of #XPConversations, where they talk about their music collective ‘Aadi’ and its initiative to bring artists together, the importance of experimenting with different sounds and showcasing new talents and their efforts in building regional and international bridges.

The duo also talks about the different challenges that faced the Saudi nightlife ecosystem and how it has changed over the years.

“There’s endless talent here, we’re just getting started.”
